4Functional & practical, but not a "chair"  Sep 01, 2010
This item is very light and does the job: have a seat when your legs are tired.

It is not that sturdy, meaning you can't really treat it like a full functioning chair. In order to stabilize when sitting down, both feet must anchor to the ground. Do not attempt to sit on this with one or both feet off the ground because you will fall over. Also, you should sit with the handle side facing the crotch and hold onto the handle (this is the most stable position).

The seat is basically like sitting on hard plastic. It is a flat surface as oppose to some seats that are contoured. It's not very comfortable if you sit for a while. Wonder if they make these seats with silicon or gel? Might increase the weight though.

4Asset at the Glenn Beck rally!  Aug 30, 2010
This seat was taken to Washington to the Glenn Beck "Restoring Honor" Rally on Aug. 28. Really helped out with the standing. IT was light weight and easy to carry.

4Not a bad seat  Aug 16, 2010
Very light weight to carry around. Carrying strap would be nice. Works best for smaller framed people. Chair did exactly what we wanted it to do.

5Chair was a lifesaver  Jul 26, 2010
This chair (didn't use the cane) was a lifesaver during our recent overseas vacation. I can't stand still for long periods of time (sciatica) but I am otherwise very healthly so I was hesitant to carry this cane/chair with me on our trip but it turned out to be a lifesaver! Everywhere we went people were asking me where I got it. I used it everywhere...waiting for subways & taxis, ON the subway, waiting in lines of all kinds! My 180 lb son sat in it several times with no problem but I don't know if it would be advisable for 200+. This one was much sturdier than a cheaper one I saw elsewhere. The only drawback is, if you are traveling, it did not fit in any of our suitcases so I had to carry it on. Which turned out to be a good thing because I sat in it while we were waiting for our luggage at the airport.

4Nice product  Jun 24, 2010
The product arrived intact in a well-packaged box on the day promised. Purchased this for my grandmother. The good part: it is very helpful as a seat and at the same time folds neatly into a cane. We found it handy and helpful for all the long tourist trips while you wait in line or wait for the car. The bad part: after you get up from the seat and dont fold it properly, it tends to open up into a seat while walking-a minor design issue. That and the fact that it was slightly heavier; hence it loses a star on the rating. Would otherwise recommend this product to anyone who cannot stand or walk for long.
