Highly Recommended ~ The Best We've Found ~ You'll Love It May 21, 2010

Nothing is worse than using an old toilet, (even some of the newer ones), that are far too short for comfort. Having your knees under your chin is hardly what anyone wants. Well, having tried a couple of other elevated toilet seats in the past that were far from sanitary, difficult to clean, and less than stable in the way they were attached and locked to the toilet. Those other models were also difficult to use by having to decide if you were going to do one or another. Doing both at one time was nearly impossible. There was lots of leakage and just totally messy to use those units.
WELL, I've been looking at this toilet seat riser for some time and now that we own it, we're only sorry we didn't switch much sooner. It fits securily, gives comparable elevation to other units after you factor in that you can have an actual toilet seat again too. It's very comfortable, very sanitary and so much easier to clean up than any of the others we've used, even if you're having a particularly bad day. We have an old toilet with a strange bulge on the left side of the bowl, so we had to make a trip to the hardware store to get shorter bolts in order to attach the unit, (1/2" shorter worked perfectly for us), but otherwise it was very easy to set it up. Give this seat a try, I assure you that you'll be as impressed as we were. Especially if you've had experience with some of those other inferior seat risers out there.

Hats Off to 'Sir' Thomas Crapper! May 17, 2011
By Searoom Helping out me Mum as she needs a bit of lift when seated.
EZ to clean and not "icky" like other booster seats,
Yes it is 'medical', yes it is somewhat obtrusive.
But Mum has had me change the other 'thrones' in the house to match.
PS - Don't skimp, buy the super-plush 4ply rolls to match :)

Do you have knee joint and lower back pain problems? Well, this hinged seat will alleviate the crunch that your existing commode exerts on these joints. Besides, you get to use the original toilet seat, and the fully hinged feature makes sanitizing a snap. Plus, it's easy to install.

adds ease to using a necessary item Apr 30, 2011
By avid reader easy to install and to keep clean. Much less expensive then a new tolet which we did in another location.

This riser is just what it says it is. It is more expensive than many others but as far as I am concerned it is well worth it seems to be very sturdy and reasonably easy to keep clean works very well. Love the hinged design.
