Works but Not Great Sep 17, 2010

They work ok as long at you do not put much stress on them. By this I mean extend out or take in the size by more than 3/4-1 inch. Over that & the button will pull off. The clip on the back is not comfortable on bare skin & sometimes the sharp point of the pin pokes through (Ouch)! They are great for emergencies or a quick fix, but for me if it is going to be long term, I find it best to just move the original button or sew on an additional one.

I use these all the time for the kids Pants and skirts.
There is nothing like being 30 minutes from home and the kids popping a button or complaining the new jeans from grandma are too big.
I keep a couple in the bottom of my purse and can fix a button in 10 second flat.
For my son who is Sensitive to the back of the button poking him, I flipp it around and let that part poke out to his shirt and the shiny smooth part of the button touch his belly. Honestly no one can see it so it works perfectly.
I would not recommend them for every day all day use. But for a few hours or to fix a pair of say rarely worn dress pants. Perfect.

It's a waste of money, it doesn't work. My husband had to help me to put it on my pants and he have to use a tool so it will be flatten the clip. The snap on it's kind a sharp. I don't recommend it at all.

Don't waste your money! Worthless. Great idea but made very, very poorly. Unusable. I tried every one in the pack and they will not stay fastened. The button part is okay, but the clasp is too weak to stay on. I took a clasp off one of my lapel pins and it worked.

these work just great, are attractive enough. My waist goes in and out due to bloating, and this helps. Also I am hour glass shaped, so waists are often too big. Gave some to my friend, who likes them, too. Please read the instructions so that you can attack and detach these correctly. they go through the wash just fine. Was glad to find the metal ones for jeans and jeans skirts. Costs less than in the stores - quick delivery.
