 Great for heavy Kitchenaid Stand mixers too Oct 07, 2010

I ordered this, thinking that if it didn't work with my heavy Kitchenaid stand mixer, I could use it for my coffee pot. I can't believe it !!!! It solved my problem with the Kitchenaid stand mixer. They are very heavy and a real pain to move in and out from the wall and the Handy Caddy did the trick. I am ordering a second one for my coffee maker. I saw a lot of solutions for the Kitchenaid stand mixer on line which were very very expensive. I am going to go back to the KitchenAid site and let them know that this thing works. Thank you Handy Caddy. A great product. You won't be sorry. Very very sturdy for the money and such a simple concept.

I love my handy caddy. It allows my coffee maker to slide out from underneath my kitchen cabinets when I need to brew some coffee. Then afterward, it slides right back, allowing me more space on my countertop.

This is so perfect for my kitchen. I always had to manually pull my coffee pot out in order to put the water in. Sometimes I just left it out, which gave me less room on my countertop. This works so well for me, it slides so easy. I am a sucker for seen on tv inventions, and I think this is the best one I ever bought.

I am happy that I purchased the Handy Caddy appliance tray... I no longer have to slide my coffee maker forward and backward on my countertop...It rolls forward and backwards with ease... I did however have a slight problem because my cabinets are low to the countertop... I did have to remove the bottom piece on the caddy that lifts it up higher... That was no problem... Again, I am happy that I purchased the appliance Caddy...I believe you will too!! Thanks, Sue

I own three of these. It works exactly as advertised. It is used for a 12 cup coffee pot that gets maneuvered about 20 times a day (in a Surgical Staff lounge). We have had it for about 6 months. I also have two in my home. One for a Professional 6 Kitchen Aide Mixer and one for an 11 cup Cuisinart food processor. All of which have been utilized with the Handy Caddy underneath.
The caddy is all plastic including the slide bearings. It "feels" flimsy-perhaps that is why is so lightweight and inexpensive. I was concerned about the bearings breaking with repeated use- BUT this has NOT happened. The all plastic parts, makes it very easy to clean with NO- rusting or marking of my countertops. The Black color is a matte finish and accommodates variable decor. For heavier objects like the Mixer and food processor- placement of the object was key in preventing toppling forward if the tray was pulled out too far. I would buy again and reccomend this item to a friend. I paid $10 each and had coupons for shipping. I would probably have paid 15 if not for the discount and it would have been worth the price.
