Horrible seat :( Jun 27, 2008

My husband it disabled and has become wheelchair bound. I purchased this to make it a little easier for him. It does hold on well to the seat, but it is also narrow between the handles. So, we removed the handles, main reason we purchased this one.
The way the seat sits on the toilet and the space between the seat and toilet seat leaves a lot of room for messes. We have had urine all over the outside of the toilet and the floor. Sorry, don't mean to be gross.
When I removed the seat it was just a mess. I disinfected it and tried it again and again, still a mess. We took it off. What a waste. Not worth the mess on a daily basis.

Raised toilet seat with arms Aug 19, 2011

Good construction. Easy to clean. Major consideration is the size of the toilet bowl on which it sits -- if it's elongated you need a different version of this because this is built for a standard round bowl. Otherwise -- good product for the person who needs the arm supports to lift off the commode easily.

just what I needed Apr 24, 2011
By exhausted caregiver This toilet seat is ideal for a lady. The width was a little less than desireable but as a whole it was what I needed for my mother who is 90 with Alzheimers. With the extra large size opening in the front I am able to clean her up quite well. With the old toilet seat she had I would get stuck in there trying to wipe her. Putting it together was quite simple, however the manufacture should invest in more durable screws with which to install it to the toilet with. I don't know how sturdy the plastic ones will be.

Great assistance! Jun 01, 2007
By Bonnie Walker After a hip relacement, this item was a 'hip-saver'!! Using a regular toilet was not an option and this was a very good answer for the problem.

By Angel A. Burton The product was okay a little difficult to install. You had to put your back into to get ot set up. The user I got if for was not comfortable with the handles and removed them which was pretty easy to do.
