Sit Down and Excercise! Jul 18, 2010
By J. Stroud For a person with degenerative spine and arthritic knees and hips, who can stand for only limited periods of time, getting any excercise is a real challenge. When I saw this little machine, I thought I would give it a try. I've been very glad I did. It's small and light weight so I can move it if I need to. I use it with a kitchen chair so I have a stable seat instead of an arm chair or sofa. It counts the revolutions, the time spent and an approximatation of the calories burned. It has a tension control, but it loosens as I pedal along.
So far, I've used it 30 minutes a day, every day since I got it. I just choose a TV show and pedal the whole time. It makes no noise at all so it's not competing with the TV for sound. Admittedly, it's not a real bicycle in the real world workout, but for those of us who need an indoor substitute that's safe, I really recommend this. It's inexpensive and easy to use. You can also put it on a table and pedal with your arms if that's your challenge area. I've finally got my blood going again!!

Perfect for at work! Feb 24, 2011
By amb123 I bought this product so that I could do something with my legs while sitting at my desk job all day. I know that I look funny as I pedal while working on the computer. My knees hit the bottom of the desk, so it does require that I back away from my desk to use it. First time I used it, awesome! Then it started squeaking. Invested in some WD-40 and no problems since. I love that it counts your revolutions and calories, even if the calories aren't weight adjusted. A good way to burn calories at work!

Excellent Purchase Apr 03, 2011
By Cathy A. This Exercise Peddler is an excellent buy. I looked in three medical supply books and the purchase prices ranged from $79.00 to $129.00 for the exact same peddler.
It is also constructed very well. Folds easy and doesn't take up much room.
My 88 year old mother is using this everyday. The little computer is easy to set, so that she knows how many calories she burns, how long she has peddled and how many miles she has gone.
She is very happy with it and the price was right with free shipping.
It also can be used for you arms not just with your feet by placing it on a table instead of the floor.
I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an Exercise Peddler.

Power machine with results Apr 16, 2011
By Judy Fleming I bought this on Amazon a few months ago, and am most pleased with it! It is small enough to carry around from room to room, yet powerful enough to get my heartbeat up, and build some muscle. Some slipping does occur on slippery surfaces, so may may want to put a mat under it. For exercising my arms - I place it on our dining room table and when finished I simply lift it off and put in away. It's so simple. The electronic display is fun to use too. Recommended.
