Drive Medical Cane Seat with Tripod design Sep 24, 2007
By Elsie Gee Without the Drive Medical Cane Seat I would not have enjoyed the specific trade show my husband and I attended. I was able to sit comfortably while he garnered his information, generally an average of 45 minutes per location. I found the tri-pod cane part to be slightly clumsy and managed to "take out" one or two legs attached to people too close to me. I had to be careful when walking in crowds not to trip others. I am short, but I found the heighth of the cane to be okay. The sitting distance was perfect. It is sturdy but not heavy. Anyone who has a hard time standing for long periods should find this product to be of significant help in those kinds of situations.

cane seat Oct 11, 2007
By buzzy bilyea This seat is lightweight and great for traveling. It is compact with a fairly good size seat. Use standard shipping, it will probably get to you just as fast.

A amusement park line seat Jun 08, 2009
By Cowboy Bebop Got this to help with waiting at Disney world ride lines and to have a seat available during parades and fire works. Doesn't feel flimsy when sitting on it and is very light weight.

Surprisingly comfortable and sturdy Nov 01, 2010
By A. Kiss This is a very handy item. I have bad knees so I hate to stand in one place for long periods. I'm also pretty big and heavy, so needed a lightweight but sturdy, easily portable seat. This one is very sturdy and surprisingly comfortable. I can easily sit on it for half an hour or so without any discomfort. The handle in the front serves as a nice arm rest which makes it even easier to sit comfortably. It serves as a pretty decent cane for walking, folds open and shut very easily. I'm never going to another rally or museum without it.

Flimsy Aug 18, 2009
By M. Herrick One of these chairs broke while my wife was sitting on it, landing her flat on her back. These chairs are supposedly able to support up to 250 pounds; my wife weighs about 130. Luckily she was on grass and not on concrete! Incidentally, we had taken the chairs out of their boxes just that morning; it was our first time using them.
