Making Life Easier Dec 13, 2006
By S. Romney I recently broke my leg quite badly, and getting in and out of the shower was a major problem. In fact, it was downright dangerous. I used another type of shower chair, but I couldn't do it all by myself. Then I found this transfer bench, and took a chance on it. It is wonderful, and has made my recuperation time so much easier. It is sturdy, will never rust, and makes me feel secure and more independent. My only complaint was that it took longer to arrive than expected. But it was worth the wait.

Highly reommend this shower bench Jul 24, 2010
By Registered Nurse Granny Due to a very bad case of plantar faciitis, I was medically ordered to utilize a shower chair for 8 weeks. I reviewed several and determined this would fit my needs the best. We currently live in a small single wide mobile home and our tub is small. I was able to appropriately accommodate this chair to our bathroom. It is very sturdy and it cleans very easily. I felt confident when using it that it would not collapse. It easily broke apart for storage. During my almost 30 years of nursing, I've seen many different kinds of shower chairs and benches. This one is tops in my book.

this transfer bench is great May 05, 2008
By N. McGill I ordered this transfer bench and it is great. Just what I needed to get in and out of our tub. I don't need any help getting in and out. It is good and sturdy. It is easy to clean too. I am 75 and I broke my ankle, so no weight on that foot. I'm sure will use it for awhile even after I can put some weight on it. Thr price on amazon was good too. NMcG

Strong and Rustproof May 22, 2010
By Old Man81 I use this as a shower bench. The adjustable legs (with rubber feet) and back make for a secure sitting area even with a curved bottom tub. With two legs in the tub and two legs outside the tub, I am able to sit and lift my legs from outside the tub to inside the tub. I am satisfied with it, just wish I was in better shape so I didn't need one.

This is a very sturdy bench. The back fits on either side. If you are looking for a bathtub bench, this is a good one.
