 Total failure of a great idea Oct 18, 2010

The idea was great - but these little pieces of cheap plastic do not stick on anything. After arranging these beautifully and carefully placing my jewelry - i sat and listened to each piece pop off the wall. Thinking it must be me - i purchased a beautiful mirror (cleaned the pieces and applied new mounting tape) to place these little pieces of plastic on - still horrified as they tumble to the floor in the middle of the night. My husband told me to send these back - even at $14 they were not worth it! DO NOT BUY THESE!!!

Terrible Product, Don't Waste Your Money Feb 25, 2011

This thing is a total waste of money, don't bother. I have a lot of different kinds of inexpensive jewelry and needed a good way to display it so I could sift through everything to pick the best pieces for my wardrobe quickly and easily. I thought these things would be awesome, there are three sets to a box which is three of the ring organizers, necklace organizers and earring organizers. I have had them for a bout a month and only one earring and one necklace organizer are still stuck to the door and they have maybe one or two things on them. These things fall off if you put anything on them. I tried putting only a few items on it, which defeats the purpose entirely and they still fell off the door. It was really fun when it happened in the middle of the night. I don't wear depleted uranium jewelry either, I have cheap and lightweight pieces usually made of plastic or pot metal. I was optimistic, I kept reapplying them and putting less and less jewelry on them but it doesn't matter. I placed mine on the backs of my wooden closet doors. Once I stuck them on there they seemed like they were on there for good...each time. Maybe they work better on a mirrored or metal surface. Bottom line: There are better products than this out there, don't buy it, you'll just get frustrated and still have to get something else that does work later. That's why I'm on Amazon right now...

I cannot explain how infuriating it was to spend HOURS finally organizing my jewelry on these seemingly ingenious hangers, only to come home and find everything tangled together on the floor once the adhesives gave way (within a matter of days). I urge you to save yourself the (massive) headache and avoid this product at all cost.

I LOVE this jewelry organizer. Contrary to the other reviewer whose kit's adhesives seemed to be damaged from manufactory, I stuck mine to a wood piece (the inside of my closet door) with no problems! And I do have a lot of jewerly, so weight did not seem to be an issue. I love the idea of this organizer so much that I am, in fact, ordering several more for friends. Note, if the adhesive does not work, simply buy a new double sided roll at the hardware store. Or, you can drill holes at the extremes/ends of each piece and secure with a nail/screw.

She liked it very well. She hung all a jewelry on the hooks. It hung up for her with the help of two way tape.
