 Sturdy, with non-rusting metal parts and lifetime warranty Jan 14, 2011

I have used a shower chair for about 13 years. I have multiple sclerosis, which has affected my balance, coordination and strength. My old shower chair lasted a LONG time, but finally the screws holding the legs on fell out, totally rusted. Unfortunately, I threw it out without noting who the manufacturer was.
When I checked out new shower chairs here on Amazon, I was surprised at how many looked nearly identical! After combing through them, I noticed that many had complaints of rust coming from the legs and staining the shower floor, even if they otherwise liked them. Others were hard to put together or difficult to set the height. This chair had only three reviews, but none complained of rust problems; all were very positive.
So, I got this model. It had to be put together, but it was easy as pie. I am impressed at how sturdily it is made. In fact, all the metal parts appear to be either aluminum (legs), stainless steel or brass. It is also easy to change the height, though not something I expect to do much.
It seems even sturdier than my old stool which lasted 13 years. Of course, time will tell. But... it also has a LIFETIME WARRANTY!

this is the second shower seat i have owned. the other one i had was rectangle and didn't quite fit in the tub without moving around. this one is absolutely perfect. very compact and very sturdy. enough room to stand in the shower with it pushed all the way to one end. i love that it is blue because it matches the decor in my bathroom. it doesn't have a hospital look to it. it's cute.

Well made, sturdy and balanced, as the legs curve out at the top like buttresses. This is as good a stool under $60 as you'll find for an amply sized tub or shower, or to use as a dressing stool in the bathroom or other location. Legs snap in easily and then there are no sharp edges. (Of course, no stool worth having fits into a standard built-in tub without taking up half the space.)

As advertised. Sturdy/well made, serviceable and looks okay too with cheerful color. So form/fuction get good marks.

This bath stool arrived without the necessary parts (screws and washers) to assemble the item. It is not usable in this condition.
